Elizabeth “BB” Sanford

Elizabeth “BB” Sanford is a proud Baylor Lawyer who was born and raised in the Dallas area. In college she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Spanish. After taking a year off to travel, she decided to attend George W. Truett Theological Seminary and Baylor Law School. She is the first graduate from Baylor University to receive a dual Master of Divinity and Juris Doctorate degree.

During Seminary, she worked as a Music/Youth Minister for a small church outside of Waco. She enjoyed leading formal worship services on Sunday mornings and informal bible studies with students on Wednesday evenings.

At law school, BB competed in numerous regional and national mock trial and moot court competitions. She won first place in the School of the Trial’s Mock Trial Competition while studying abroad at St. Andrews in Scotland, and was named the 2016 “Mad Dog” winner of Baylor Law School’s intrascholastic “Mad Dog” Mock Trial Competition.

BB knew she wanted to be a plaintiff’s attorney from the moment she began law school because she has a heart for representing those who have been seriously injured and need help. She joined the personal injury law firm, Eberstein Witherite, LLP in 2017 and is passionate about advocating for her clients and seeking justice through our country’s judicial system.

BB’s given name is Elizabeth. She went by “Libby” when she was younger, but would often say “BB” instead. She eventually overcame her speech impediment, but the unique nickname stuck.

In her spare time, BB loves playing fetch with her dog Penny, cheering on her Baylor Bears, and traveling.
